Dutch Commentator: Argentina deserved to lose and was disgraceful, no shots on goal

After Argentina's loss in the FIFA World Cup final, Paredes lost control and attacked Gavi, prompting NOS commentator Kenneth Perez to call such behavior "shameful."

In New Jersey, Argentina was dominated from start to finish, failing to create a single decent chance. Instead, the match featured more crude and even malicious fouls from Paredes, Otamendi, and Tagliafico.

Footage captured after the final showed Paredes first grabbing Spanish defender Eric García's neck with force, then bringing Gavi to the ground. Referee Vincic ultimately showed him a red card for these excessive actions.

"They truly deserved to lose," Kenneth Perez said. "Not a single shot on goal throughout the entire process, and the way they left the field was embarrassing. It made me very angry. To try and play a game like that with such behavior."

"Of course, a stronger Spain will press you in your half. But for Argentina to try and achieve a result in this manner, it's truly shameful."

"I don't care if it's their style, this is disgraceful! Paredes, Tagliafico, Otamendi... it's damn! We are all football lovers, aren't we? I know finals can sometimes be like chess, but this game was completely different," Perez concluded.
