Cubarsi becomes Transfermarkt's third €100 million center-Back after Van Dijk and Saliba

Transfermarkt Germany has updated the latest market values of players participating in the 2026 World Cup. The 19-year-old Spanish center-back Cubarsi's market value increased by 20 million euros, reaching 100 million euros, making him the third center-back in Transfermarkt history to break this threshold.

Before this update, Cubarsi's market value was 80 million euros. Thanks to his outstanding performance during the World Cup, his market value has risen to 100 million euros, making him and Saliba jointly the highest-valued center-backs currently.

In 2019, Van Dijk became the first center-back in Transfermarkt history to reach a market value of 100 million euros. In June 2026, William Saliba's market value rose to 100 million euros, making him the second center-back to reach this height. With Cubarsi's recent jump in market value, he has also become the third player, after Van Dijk and William Saliba, to join the ranks of "100 Million Euro Center-Backs".
