Modrić celebrates 200th international cap with Croatia victory, receives commemorative jersey

 Modrić played his 200th international match in a FIFA World Cup group stage match against Panama, which Croatia won 1-0.


After the match, the entire Croatian team held a special celebration ceremony for their captain. All the players wore special commemorative jerseys, and Modrić himself received a No. 200 commemorative jersey presented by the Croatian Football Association.


Now 40 years old, Modrić made his national team debut on March 1, 2006, and his international career has spanned two decades.
