Romano: AC Milan and West Ham are set to complete Füllkrug loan deal next week

Romano reveals AC Milan and West Ham are set to complete Niclas Füllkrug loan deal next week with formal steps to follow.

AC Milan have offered a six-month loan for West Ham striker Niclas Füllkrug until season's end, covering his full wages with no fee to West Ham and an optional €13-15 million buy clause.

The deal could finalize next week, letting the German international debut as early as January 8 against Genoa.

Füllkrug tallied 20 goals and assists at Dortmund last year but has struggled for minutes and goals at West Ham this season.

For second-place Milan, one point behind Inter, he adds proven physicality and hold-up play to fuel their Scudetto push.
