OFFICIAL: Arsenal defender Zinchenko joins Ajax until the end of this season

 The 29-year-old Ukraine international will sign a contract in Amsterdam until the end of this season, until June 30, 2026. 

OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

Zinchenko was born on December 15, 1996, in Radomyšl, Ukraine. In his native country, he went through the youth academy of Shakhtar Donetsk. Halfway through the 2015/2016 season, he left for Russia and made his professional debut with the club FK Ufa. In the summer of 2016, he made the switch to the English Premier League and signed a contract with Manchester City. With the exception of the 2016/2017 season, in which he played for PSV on loan in the Netherlands, the Ukrainian represented the shirt of the English top club until mid-2022. Then followed a transfer to Arsenal, the club that loaned him out to Nottingham Forest for the past six months.
