Dzeko headlines Bosnia's World Cup squad
Bosnia-Herzegovina have become the first team to announce their squad for the World Cup, with 40-year-old Edin Dzeko leading the team this summer.

Despite a logical elimination in the quarterfinals against Nigeria (0-2), the Algerian people and Les Fennecs would undoubtedly have liked to go a little further and face Morocco in the semifinals.
That won’t be the case, but this AFCON has been very instructive, according to Amine Gouiri.
The former Lyon player, who was unable to participate in the AFCON due to shoulder surgery, sees reasons for hope for the World Cup.
“We’ve proven that we have a great generation,” Gouiri optimistic about the World Cup.
Gouiri believes the experience gained during CAN 2025 could serve as a strong foundation for upcoming challenges, particularly the World Cup qualifiers.
